Evaluation of Students. The teacher shall determine grades and other evaluations of students within the grading policies of the Board based upon his professional judgment of available criteria pertinent to any given subject area or activity to which he is responsible. No grade or evaluation shall be changed without prior discussion with the teacher.

Evaluation of Students. The teacher has the right and responsibility to evaluate student performance in accordance with the individual schools' policy. Evaluation systems will be utilized which are non- discriminatory, fair and consistent. If an evaluation or grade is brought into review, an administrator will consult with the teacher who made the evaluation or issued the final grade. If the review results in a change, the administrator will provide written notification to the teacher in a timely manner.

The District shall provide the teacher with timely, written notification of any District action taken on a grade change appeal. Evaluation of Students. The School shall implement the plan for assessment of student performance contained in the Application and shall administer the statewide assessment consistent with the laws and regulations of the state. The School shall certify annually that its students have participated in the statewide assessment program.

Evaluation of Students. The employee has the responsibility to determine grades and provide other evaluative information for students. All grades and evaluations shall be consistent with the District’s grading policy. No changes in grades or evaluations shall be made without consulting with, and obtaining the approval of, the employee who assigned the grade, unless the employee cannot substantiate a grade or has left the District and cannot be reached. A grade may be changed by Board action. Subject to the student’s right of due process, no grade changes will be made after one year has elapsed from the time the grade was assigned.

Upon a student or parent request, the grade may be reviewed by the teacher. The teacher is encouraged to consult with relevant building specialists prior to responding to the student or parent. No changes shall be made to the student’s grade issued by the teacher more than 90 days after the end of the school year in which the grade was issued.
Evaluation of Students. The Education Corporation shall implement, for each school, student assessment requirements applicable to other public schools and those set forth in the Terms of Operation except as otherwise specifically provided by applicable law. The Education Corporation shall ensure that each school administers the complete battery of State tests applicable to each grade and Regents examinations, if applicable, to the same extent such examinations are required of other public school students, as well as any standardized or other examinations required by each school’s Accountability Plan. In addition, each school shall supplement those assessment tools with the other assessment tools required by the Terms of Operation, if any, or as are required by or set forth in each school’s Accountability Plan further described below.
