CREDIT EXPERIENCE. 1. Full credit shall be granted for each year of teaching experience in a state-accredited school prior to being employed by the Board. Out-of-state, non-accredited experience may be granted at the discretion of the superintendent. 2. An educator who had been employed for at least one complete semester during a school year or who taught half-time or more during a complete school year shall be granted a full year’s credit on the salary schedule. However, if such experience (one semester’ or part-time experience) is obtained in each of two school years, it shall be combined and counted as one year of experience.
