Common use of Criminal Acts Clause in Contracts

Criminal Acts. Employment on the project by the CM, or any of its sub- contractors, of any employee, or independent contractor, with any prior convictions of any crimes against children, crimes of violence or crimes of moral turpitude will not be tolerated. If it is determined that any person with such criminal history is on the project site, the CM agrees to take all steps necessary to remove such person from the project and the property. Owner shall have the right to terminate this Contract if the CM does not comply with this provision.
