Criminal Actions. Where an employee is charged with an offence resulting directly from the proper performance of his/her duties and is subsequently found not guilty, the employee shall be reimbursed for reasonable legal fees.

Criminal Actions. Contractor employees may be subject to criminal actions as allowed by law in certain circumstances. These include but are not limited to the following actions: falsification or unlawful concealment, removal, mutilation, or destruction of any official documents or records or concealment of material facts by willful omission from official documents or records; unauthorized use of Government property, theft, vandalism, or immoral conduct; unethical or improper use of official authority or credentials; security violations; organizing or participating in gambling in any form; and misuse of weapons.

Criminal Actions. The Employer will not direct nor expect any employee to participate in any criminal activity as part of their employment. Where an employee is charged with a criminal of- fense resulting directly from the proper performance of her/his duties and subsequently found not- guilty, the employee shall be reimbursed for reasonable legal costs. Employees shall have the right to refuse involvement in any activity that may be criminal, and shall not be subject to disciplinary action as a result of such refusal.
