Criminal, Violent and Drug Related Activities. 1. CRIMINAL ACTIVITY: Tenant shall not engage in, and shall assure and ensure that no Household Member, Guest or Other Person Under the Tenant’s Control engages in, any criminal activity on or off MHA owned property. As used in this Lease, the term “criminal activity” shall mean a violation of State or Federal law, including but not limited to criminal activity which threatens the health or safety of any MHA Tenant, employee or contractor of the MHA, any member of any law enforcement agency, or any member of the public who is on or near MHA property, or that threatens the right of any MHA Tenant, guest or neighbor in the immediate vicinity to the peaceful and quiet enjoyment of their residence. Tenant shall be held responsible for any criminal activity of a Household Member, Guest or Other Person Under the Tenant’s Control.

  • Criminal Background Investigations For investigative Vendor Staff, Citizens will accept a copy of a current Class C Private Investigator license as proof that a criminal background check has been conducted for that investigator. For all other Vendor Staff, Vendor must provide Citizens with a copy of a criminal background check performed on such Vendor Staff dated within thirty (30) days of submission of the Vendor Staff to Citizens for qualification and credentialing review. Vendor shall use Exhibit D, Applicant Background Review Guide to as a guideline to determine eligibility of Vendor Staff to perform Services. The criminal background check must be updated every two (2) years thereafter. All background checks will be at Vendor’s expense and, unless otherwise approved in writing by Citizens’ Contract Manager, shall include but not be limited to: (a) state and federal felony convictions or pending adjudications; (b) state and federal misdemeanor convictions or pending adjudications; (c) any crimes in violation of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1995 or pending adjudications; and, (d) a seven (7) year minimum timeframe, extending as close as practicable to the date of Assignment to perform Services. Vendor will advise Citizens’ Contract Manager or designee if it knows of any Vendor Staff that has a criminal conviction (misdemeanor or felony), regardless of adjudication (adjudication withheld, a plea of guilty or nolo contendere, or a guilty verdict), within the last ten (10) years in any jurisdiction. Vendor shall not allow that individual to act as a Vendor Staff until Vendor determines whether that individual should be allowed to do so considering (a) the nature and gravity of the offense; (b) the amount of time that lapsed since the offense;

  • Commercial Activities Neither Contractor nor its employees shall establish any commercial activity or issue concessions or permits of any kind to Third Parties for establishing commercial activities on the Site or any other lands owned or controlled by Owner.

  • Illegal Activities Seller shall not engage in any conduct or activity that could subject its assets to forfeiture or seizure.

  • Political Activity Prohibited a. None of the funds, materials, property or services provided directly or indirectly under this contract shall be used for partisan political activity.

  • CRIMINAL ACTIVITY If subsequent to the effectiveness of this Agreement, NYSERDA comes to know of any allegation previously unknown to it that the Contractor or any of its principals is under indictment for a felony, or has been, within five (5) years prior to submission of the Contractor’s proposal to NYSERDA, convicted of a felony, under the laws of the United States or Territory of the United States, then NYSERDA may exercise its stop work right under this Agreement. If subsequent to the effectiveness of this Agreement, NYSERDA comes to know of the fact, previously unknown to it, that Contractor or any of its principals is under such indictment or has been so convicted, then NYSERDA may exercise its right to terminate this Agreement. If the Contractor knowingly withheld information about such an indictment or conviction, NYSERDA may declare the Agreement null and void and may seek legal remedies against the Contractor and its principals. The Contractor or its principals may also be subject to penalties for any violation of law which may apply in the particular circumstances. For a Contractor which is an association, partnership, corporation, or other organization, the provisions of this paragraph apply to any such indictment or conviction of the organization itself or any of its officers, partners, or directors or members of any similar governing body, as applicable.

  • CONCERTED ACTIVITIES 24.1 It is agreed and understood that there will be no strike, work stoppage, slow-down, or refusal or failure to fully and faithfully perform job functions and responsibilities, or other interference with the operations of the District by the Federation, or by any of the Federation's officers, agents, or members during the term of this Agreement, including compliance with the request of other labor organizations to engage in such activity.

  • Iran, Sudan and Foreign Terrorist Organizations The Developer represents that neither it nor any of its parent company, wholly- or majority-owned subsidiaries, and other affiliates is a company identified on a list prepared and maintained by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts under Section 2252.153 or Section 2270.0201, Texas Government Code, and posted on any of the following pages of such officer's internet website: xxxxx://xxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxx.xxx/purchasing/docs/sudan-list.pdf, xxxxx://xxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxx.xxx/purcasing/docs/iran-list.pdf, or xxxxx://xxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxx.xxx/purchasing/docs/flo-list.pdf. The foregoing representation is made solely to comply with Section 2252.152, Texas Government Code, and to the extent such Section does not contravene applicable Federal law and excludes the Developer and each of its parent company wholly- or majority- owned subsidiaries, and other affiliates, if any, that the United States government has affirmatively declared to be excluded from its federal sanctions regime relating to Sudan or Iran or any federal sanctions regime relating to a foreign terrorist organization. The Developer understands "affiliate" to mean any entity than controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Developer and exists to make a profit.

  • Illegal Activity No portion of the Property has been or will be purchased with proceeds of any illegal activity.

  • Prohibited Activities You may not access or use the Site for any purpose other than that for which we make the Site available.
