Crisis Intervention. a. Crisis Intervention is a service, lasting less than twenty- four (24) hours, to or on behalf of a beneficiary for a condition that requires more timely response than a regularly scheduled visit. b. Contractor shall provide Crisis Intervention if medically necessary. c. To be considered for payment Crisis Intervention must be retroactively authorized by the BHRS Deputy Director of Child and Youth Services or designee.
