Common use of Cross Jurisdictional Assignments Clause in Contracts

Cross Jurisdictional Assignments. In an effort to meet temporary staffing requirements and to minimize the need for contractors, the Company and the Union agree that the Company will have the right to supplement the work force within the jurisdiction of the Union with other Company employees. At the discretion of management, due to service requirements, employees may be required to work at other Company designated locations outside the bargaining unit on a temporary basis. Similarly, other bargaining and/or non-bargaining unit Company employees may be required to work at Company designated locations on a temporary basis performing bargaining unit work. The determination of which employees based on qualifications and operational necessity are to be utilized in the above capacity shall rest solely with the Company.
