An Unlicensed crew member shall receive first call for work customary to his position, both on and off watch. Should the work be performed by Officers, the Unlicensed crew member will receive a payment equal to the amount of pay he would have earned if he had worked. The above sections shall not apply where hours of rest regulations or any emergency may prohibit same.

It was specifically agreed that all crew members, including the Engineer will work together to handle lines aboard the tug, assist in various engine room duties including changing of oil filters and any other work required so that the tug could perform its assigned task.

This shall not apply to employees transferred from one ship to another at their own request. When employees are transferred from one ship to another at the company's convenience, where such transfer necessitates a layover period awaiting ship, such employees shall be compensated at their regular rate of wages during such layover. If layover takes place at any port other that the employee's home port, accommodation and meals will be provided. Unlicensed crew members covered by this Agreement who are requested by the Company to join a vessel which does not berth in their home port shall be provided with transportation and meals to and from their home port when proceeding on weekly leave, or joining or leaving the vessel. For the purpose of and of Article 1 and and of Article the home port of the employee shall be the home port of the vessel which he is employed aboard. A meal allowance of nine dollars and fifty cents will be made to the unlicensed Deck and Engineroom personnel assigned to laid-up ships in Victoria and who reside in Vancouver to defray the cost of two meals; one when they travel from Vancouver to Victoria and one when they travel from Victoria to Vancouver. This payment is in addition to their regular fare, which is provided by the Company.

  • Normal Duties (a) Faculty members are accountable for 10 months of the year. The 10 months accountable time includes such activities as teaching, the counselling of students, curriculum/program development, professional development and participation on a variety of educational committees. (b) At least one month before the commencement of any accountable time longer than four consecutive days, and covering activities other than teaching or professional development the faculty member will submit for approval to the appropriate administrator an activity plan for this period. Approval will not be unreasonably withheld. On an annual basis, the faculty member will submit to the appropriate administrator a written report of their accountable time activities.

  • General Duties It shall be the duty of the Owner Trustee to discharge (or cause to be discharged) all of its responsibilities pursuant to the terms of this Agreement and the Sale and Servicing Agreement and to administer the Trust in the interest of the Holder, subject to the Basic Documents and in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement.
