Common use of Customizations Clause in Contracts

Customizations. The student is permitted to alter or add files to customize the assigned computer to their own working styles (i.e., background screens, screensavers or default fonts) however, the student shall not add any markings, stickers or other decorations to the physical computer itself, neither should the student remove the school logo/sticker. All Chromebooks will be labeled with a District Asset Tag. Asset Tags are not to be modified or tampered with in any way. Students may be charged up to the full replacement cost of a Chromebook for tampering with an Asset Tag or turning in a Chromebook without one.
