Daikin Heat Pump Sample Clauses

Daikin Heat Pump. Hot Water Store Interaction The interaction between the ASHP and the hot water storage (Megaflo hot water tank and buffer/accumulator tank) will be completely independent from VNet control. With the use of a standard Daikin system programmer, thermostat and associated valves and pumps, the ASHP and hot water stores will operate in a completely standalone manner. This is beneficial as the system will continue to operate even in the face of an unreliable internet connection. The system programmer can be configured such that the hot water tank and buffer tanks are charged during off-peak periods, with the controller responsible to directing the flow of hot water to either hot water tanks through the use of pumps. While hot water will be drawn from the hot water tank as and when required, the system programmer will engage a central heating pump to circulate hot water from the buffer tank through the radiators during the period(s) that the customer requires the radiators to heat the living space to a temperature defined by the local thermostat. The interaction with VNet is as described in the following section - in addition to the scheduled periods of heat pump operation as defined by the system controller, the heat pump can also be engaged during periods of curtailment, provided the pattern and duration of curtailments is compatible with the constraints of the heat pump.
