Moonlighting definition

Moonlighting shall refer to an employee who regularly makes a practice of working for two or more employers and for the purpose of this Agreement, the term "moonlighting" shall also refer to employees who take employment of any sort during their annual vacation:
Moonlighting means any activity for compensation by a state employee outside of state employment.
Moonlighting shall refer to an employee who works for two or more employers. When this practice affects the Company’s business or the employee’s ability to perform his job it shall be, cause for discipline. Prior to undertaking any personal interest or employment, which could be in conflict with this Article, the employee will advise and receive approval for same from Management and the Union.

  • A Fellow may participate in Internal Moonlighting only if eligible and with specific approval (see, Moonlighting policy).

  • If a Resident/Fellow is approved by the Program Director to engage in Moonlighting, the Resident/Fellow shall maintain, at Resident/Fellow’s sole responsibility, professional malpractice liability insurance for such activities.

  • Resident/Fellow acknowledges Employer-procured professional malpractice liability insurance does not cover Resident/Fellow Moonlighting activity.

  • Moonlighting is not allowed while a trainee is suspended or on administrative leave.

  • Moonlighting is defined as any voluntary, compensated work, including clinical or SAMPLE non-clinical activities, outside of the Fellowship Program.


More Definitions of Moonlighting

Moonlighting means any work activities outside the program.

Moonlighting and other professional activities outside the program may be prohibited by any program; if moonlighting is not prohibited in Resident’s Program, the Resident must adhere to “Moonlighting of Residents and Clinical Fellows” Policy and obtain the required prior approval before engaging in moonlighting.
