Daily Teaching Load. 1. The daily teaching load per teacher for Grades 7-12 shall not exceed one hundred sixty (160) students except for required English classes which are limited to 150 students per day in Grades 9-12 and 135 students per day in Grades 6-8. 2. A waiver to the 160 student per day limit may be requested by the District and granted by the Public Education Department (PED). There are two conditions under which a waiver to the limits established for class sizes and daily teaching loads may be granted. The waivered class sizes can be found in Appendix B.
