Danger Signals and Safety Devices. The Contractor shall make all necessary precautions to guard against damages to property and injury to persons. The Contractor shall put up and maintain in good condition, sufficient red or warning lights at night, suitable barricades, and other devices necessary to protect the public. In case the Contractor fails or neglects to take such precautions, the Developer may have such lights and barricades installed and charge the cost of this work to the Contractor. Such action by the Developer does not relieve the Contractor of any liability incurred under these specifications or contract.
