Data Security Requirements to Protect the Confidentiality of Student Education Records. a. Protection of Confidential Data. [ENTITY] agrees to abide by the limitations on re-disclosure of personally identifiable information from education records set forth in The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (20 U.S.C. §1232g; 34 CFR § 99.33 (a)(2)) and with the terms set forth below. 34 CFR 99.33 (a)(2) states that the officers, employees, and agents of a party that receive education record information from the school may use the information, but only for the purposes for which the disclosure was made. [ENTITY] further shall comply with confidentiality, medical records and/or other applicable laws and regulations and the School District’s policy and protocols with regard to any and all student information directly or indirectly accessed or used by [ENTITY] and their personnel. Attached Exhibit 1 is incorporated hereto.
