Dedicated Transport and Dark Fiber Transport. 5.1 AT&T shall offer unbundled access to Dedicated Transport in accordance with FCC Rules 47 C.F.R. §§ 51.311 and 51.319 and Section 251(c) of the Act. 5.2 A Route is defined in 47 C.F.R. § 51.319 (e) as a transmission path between one (1) of AT&T’s wire centers or switches and another of AT&T’s wire centers or switches. A Route between two (2) points may pass through one (1) or more intermediate wire centers or switches. Transmission paths between the same end points are the same Route, irrespective of whether they pass through the same intermediate wire centers or switches, if any.

  • Dedicated Transport A DS0-, DS1-, or DS3-capacity transmission facility between Verizon switches (as identified in the LERG) or UNE Wire Centers, within a LATA, that is dedicated to a particular end user or carrier. Dedicated Transport is sometimes referred to as dedicated interoffice facilities ("IOF"). Dedicated Transport does not include any facility that does not connect a pair of Verizon UNE Wire Centers.
