Deduction from Sick Leave. A deduction shall be made from accumulated sick leave of all normal working days (exclusive of paid holidays) absent for sick leave.
Deduction from Sick Leave. (F/T) Employees who are absent because of illness shall have the number of days absent deducted from their accumulated sick leave credits.
Deduction from Sick Leave. A deduction shall be made from accumulated sick leave of all scheduled working days absent for sick leave. Absence on account of illness for less than one-half (1/2) days shall not be deducted. Absence for one-half (1/2) day or more, and less than a full day shall be deduced as one-half (1/2) day.
Deduction from Sick Leave. All authorized personal necessity leave shall be deducted from an employee’s Sick Leave.
Deduction from Sick Leave. The leave shall be deducted from the PTS teacher’s sick leave (annual, if sufficient, otherwise accumulated). In the event the PTS teacher does not have sufficient sick leave to his/her credit, the PTS teacher shall not be eligible for paid adoption leave to the extent of the deficiency.
Deduction from Sick Leave. A deduction shall be made from the employee's accumulated sick leave credits for each regular working hour (exclusive of holidays) that the employee is absent on sick leave as defined in Article 4.06. Seven and one half (7½) hours constitute a working day.
Deduction from Sick Leave. The District or SCOE shall not deduct sick days from the accumulated sick leave balance of a Unit Member who is absent as the result of an industrial accident.
Deduction from Sick Leave a) A deduction shall be made from accumulated sick leave credits on all normal working days or part thereof (exclusive of holidays), where the employee is absent due to personal illness, personal medical or dental appointments, as subsection (b) below.
b) Personal medical and/or dental appointments should normally be scheduled outside normal working hours where possible. Where such appointments cannot be scheduled outside normal working hours, the employee should endeavour to schedule the appointment to minimize work time lost and should notify his or her immediate supervisor at least three (3) days prior, except in emergency situations.
Deduction from Sick Leave. For each day of approved sick a deduction be made from the sick credits on an hour per hour basis, based on the number of hours an was to report to work for a shift due to be to draw on sick credits to the extent earned.
Deduction from Sick Leave. (a) A deduction shall be made from the employee's accumulated sick leave credits for each regular working hour (exclusive of holidays) that the employee is absent on sick leave.
(b) Where an employee has to leave work because of sickness, the employee shall be entitled to use sick leave credits for the remainder of the shift.
