Deductions of rent from salary. (a) If you reside in a building owned or leased by the Commonwealth, you may be required to pay rent deducted fortnightly at a rate not exceeding ten per cent of your salary. You may authorise us to deduct this amount from your pay. (b) Rent at this rate will continue to be payable by you during periods of leave.
