Definition of a Shift and a Work Week. a) For employees who work a rotating shift, such shifts shall consist of eight (8) consecutive hours namely: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. A workweek consists of a forty (40) hour week averaged over a four (4) week period.
