Common use of Definition of Certification Clause in Contracts

Definition of Certification. Certification shall be determined by the District based upon the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) (State Law) and the Washington Administrative Code (WAC) (State Regulations). An employee shall be deemed qualified for a position if he/she holds the required certificate. To ensure that the certificated employees recommended for retention will be qualified to implement the education program determined by the District, all certificated employees must possess valid Washington State certificate as may be required for the position(s) under consideration.
