DEFINITION OF SALARY COLUMNS. I = A Bachelor’s degree and other personnel with five (5) years experience; II = twelve (12) semester hours or fifteen (15) quarter hours beyond a Bachelor’s degree, or twelve (12) semester hours or fifteen (15) quarter hours after receiving a professional license; III = thirty (30) semester hours (or equivalent quarter hours) above a Bachelor’s degree or above a professional license; IV = Master’s degree personnel or Bachelor’s degree with forty-two (42) semester hours or equivalent quarter hours above a Bachelor’s degree or above a professional license; V = Master’s degree personnel with fifteen (15) graduate semester hours above a Master’s degree; VI = Master’s degree personnel with thirty (30) graduate semester hours above a Master’s degree. Movement to Column IV requires the teacher to actually earn forty-two (42) semester hours or equivalent quarter hours beyond the Bachelor’s degree or above a professional license. Hours must be completed at an accredited college or university approved by the Ohio Board of Regents or the equivalent if completed out of state.

  • Definition of Shifts (a) A shift starting on or after 6:00 a.m., but before 9:00 a.m. is a day shift.

  • Definition of Sick Leave Sick leave means the period of time an Employee is absent from work because of disability due to illness or injury not covered by Workers’ Compensation.

  • Application of Salary Rates The Employer shall continue the current application of salary rates for the duration of this Agreement.

  • Consideration of Salary History Contractor shall comply with San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 12K, the Consideration of Salary History Ordinance or “Pay Parity Act.” Contractor is prohibited from considering current or past salary of an applicant in determining whether to hire the applicant or what salary to offer the applicant to the extent that such applicant is applying for employment to be performed on this Agreement or in furtherance of this Agreement, and whose application, in whole or part, will be solicited, received, processed or considered, whether or not through an interview, in the City or on City property. The ordinance also prohibits employers from (1) asking such applicants about their current or past salary or (2) disclosing a current or former employee’s salary history without that employee’s authorization unless the salary history is publicly available. Contractor is subject to the enforcement and penalty provisions in Chapter 12K. Information about and the text of Chapter 12K is available on the web at xxxxx://xxxxx.xxx/olse/consideration-salary-history. Contractor is required to comply with all of the applicable provisions of 12K, irrespective of the listing of obligations in this Section.

  • Employee Definitions For the purpose of this Agreement, the following definitions shall apply:

  • Definition of Service Fast Post‐Fault Active Power Recovery is the recovery of a Providing Unit’s MW Output to at least 90% of its pre‐Fault Disturbance MW Output within 250ms of the voltage at the Providing Unit’s Connection Point recovering to at least 90% of its pre‐Fault Disturbance value for any Fault Disturbance that is cleared within 900ms. The Providing Unit must be exporting Active Power to the Power System and must remain connected to the Power System for at least 15 minutes following the Fault Disturbance.

  • Definition of Sole Source As used in this Article 3.2.16, “Sole Source” means a Trade Contractor or Supplier or Subcontractor specified by name in a Bulletin as the exclusive source from which conforming goods or services may be obtained. Designation of goods or services by reference to a named source accompanied by the qualification “or equal” or similar language is not a designation of a Sole Source as that term is defined herein.

  • Definition of Seniority Seniority shall be defined as the length of an employee's continuous service with the Employer, commencing with his/her last date of full-time hire. The application of seniority shall be limited to the preferences specifically recited in this Agreement.

  • Employee Definition The term “employee" when used in this Agreement will refer to all employees in the unit for bargaining as defined in Section 1.

  • Definition of Employees A. Full-time employee is defined as a person employed in a position that is scheduled for forty (40) hours per week.
