Definitions of Categories. Each Division, Faculty and School shall use the following definitions and guidelines when developing department or discipline specific standards to meet the criteria for academic designation, promotion and tenure. Each Division, Faculty and School must specify the type and weighting of the evidence to be assessed and applied in each category. All such standards shall be subject to Senate approval.
