Common use of Denial of Salary Increment Clause in Contracts

Denial of Salary Increment. The Employer may deny a salary increment to an employee if it is satisfied that the employee is not performing the duties of the position assigned satisfactorily. Where the Employer intends to deny a salary increment from an employee it shall, at least two (2) weeks but not more than six (6) weeks before the due date for the salary increment to the employee, give the employee the reason for the denial in writing.
