Department Chair Appointment Process. The faculty may submit their recommendations on their own, if at all, to the ▇▇▇▇ of the Faculty, whether it be the Union suggested profile form or one of the individual faculty member’s own choosing. It is the Faculty member’s responsibility to create, complete, collect, and forward the recommendation. The President will consider all timely submitted department faculty recommendations.
(a) Chairpersons shall convey department decisions and requests to the appropriate committees and administrative officers of the University and shall keep Faculty Members and student majors informed of important developments.
