Common use of Department of Administrative Services Review Clause in Contracts

Department of Administrative Services Review. If the grievance remains unresolved at STEP 2, the Union may file the grievance with the Department of Administrative Services, Labor Relations Unit, within fifteen (15) calendar days following receipt of the response at STEP 2. The Department of Administrative Services shall respond within fifteen (15) calendar days following receipt of the appeal to the Department of Administrative Services. In the event the response from the Department of Administrative Services is acceptable to the Union, such response shall have the same force and effect as a decision or award of an arbitrator, and shall be final and binding on all parties and they will abide thereby.

The Department of Administrative Services LRU shall respond within fifteen (15) calendar days following receipt of the appeal to the Department of Administrative ServicesStep 3 meeting. 6 In the event the response from the Department of Administrative Services is acceptable to the 7 Union, such response shall have the same force and effect as a decision or award of an arbitrator, and 8 shall be final and binding on all parties and they will abide thereby.
