Common use of Departmental Reinstatement List Clause in Contracts

Departmental Reinstatement List. A. The name of every regular employee who is laid off for longer than one (1) pay period due to a reduction in force, or who is laid off in lieu of reassignment under subsection (C) above, shall be placed on Departmental Reinstatement Lists for all classifications of a currently equal or lower salary range in which the employee ever held regular status, provided the department is allocated any positions of such classifications.
