Common use of Description of Appropriate Unit Clause in Contracts

Description of Appropriate Unit. For purposes of this Agreement, the term secretarial and clerical employees means all secretaries and clerks in the appropriate unit employed by the School Board in such classification, but excluding the following: secretaries and clerks in the superintendent's office, administrative assistants to superintendent's cabinet directors, employees hired to work less than fourteen (14) hours per week or 35% of the normal work week and employees hired to work less than sixty-seven (67) work days per year as well as supervisory and confidential employees.

Description of Appropriate Unit. For purposes of this Agreement, the term secretarial and clerical employees means shall mean all secretaries and clerks persons (in the appropriate unit unit) employed by the School Board in such classificationclassifications as established by comparable worth, on the secretarial and clerical salary schedule, but excluding the following: secretaries secretary to the Superintendent, confidential employees, and clerks in the superintendent's office, administrative assistants to superintendent's cabinet directors, those employees hired to work less than fourteen (14) whose service does not exceed 14 hours per week or 35% who hold positions of the normal work week and employees hired to work less than sixty-seven (67) work a temporary or seasonal character for a period not in excess of 100 working days per year as well as supervisory and confidential employeescalendar year.
