Common use of Description of Appropriate Unit Clause in Contracts

Description of Appropriate Unit. For the purpose of the Agreement, the term Food Service Employees shall mean all persons in the appropriate unit employed by the School District in the following classifications of cook and head cooks excluding the following: confidential employees, supervisory employees, essential employees, part-time employees whose service does not exceed 14 hours per week, employees who hold positions of a temporary or seasonal character for a period not in excess of 67 working days in any calendar year and emergency employees.

Description of Appropriate Unit. For the purpose purposes of the this Agreement, the term Food Service Employees “food service employee” shall mean all persons in the appropriate unit employed by the School District in the following such classifications of cook and head cooks excluding the following: confidential employees, supervisory employees, essential employees, part-time employees whose service does services do not exceed 14 hours per week or 35 percent of the normal work week, employees who hold positions of a temporary or seasonal character for a period not in excess of 67 working days in any calendar year year, and emergency employees. The parties agree that food service employees who are scheduled to work at least 2.75 hours per day are eligible for the bargaining unit.

Included in the unit are all Food Service employees that do not meet the exclusion criteria. A normal work week shall be considered 35 hours per week, employees who hold positions of a temporary or seasonal character for a period not in excess of 67 working days in any calendar year and emergency employees.

For the purpose purposes of the this Agreement, the term Food Service Employees “food service personnel” shall mean all persons in the appropriate unit employed by the School District school district in the following classifications of cook and head cooks such classifications, excluding the following: confidential employees, supervisory employees, essential employees, part-time employees whose service does services do not exceed 14 hours per week, employees who hold positions of a temporary or seasonal character for a period not in excess of 67 100 working days in any calendar year and emergency employees.

For the purpose purposes of the this Agreement, the term School Food Service Employees Personnel shall mean all persons in the appropriate unit employed by the School District school district in the following such classifications of cook and head cooks excluding the following: confidential employees, supervisory employees, essential employees, part-time employees whose service does services do not exceed the lesser of 14 hours per weekweek or 35% of the normal work week in the employee’s bargaining unit, employees who hold positions of a temporary or seasonal character for a period not in excess of 67 working days in any calendar year and emergency employees.
