Common use of Description of Appropriate Unit Clause in Contracts

Description of Appropriate Unit. For the purposes of this Agreement, the term Educational Assistant employee shall mean all persons in the appropriate unit, employed as educational assistants, employed by the School Board excluding the following: confidential employees, supervisory employees, essential employees, and employees who hold positions of a temporary or seasonal character for a period not in excess of 67 normal working days in any calendar year and emergency employees.
