Common use of Description of Duties Clause in Contracts

Description of Duties. The Employer shall provide Writing Instructors with written descriptions of their duties and responsibilities prior to their first day of employment. During the term of employment the Employer shall not decrease the total number of hours as set out in the employee’s letter of offer. With the express written agreement of the Employee, the Employer may increase the total number of the Writing Instructor’s work hours. It is understood that the Employee shall have the right to refuse such changes without suffering any loss of employment or pay.
