Determination of Time of Day. Day (8AM-5PM), Evening (5PM-11PM) and Night (11PM-8AM) rates are determined by the local time of the rate center of the calling station. Chargeable time for a rate period (e.g. 8AM –5PM) begins with the first stated hour (8AM) and continues to, but does not include, the second stated hour (5PM). The time of day rate period applicable at the start of chargeable time at the calling station applies to the entire call. The Evening rate applies to New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day or on resulting legal holidays when Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, or Independence Day legal holidays fall on dates other than December 25, January 1, or July 4, unless a lower rate is in effect.

  • Calculation of Time For the purposes of this Agreement, “days” refers to calendar days unless otherwise specified.

  • Computation of Time In computing any period of time prescribed or allowed by procedures herein, the date of the act, event, or default for which the designated period of time begins to run shall not be included. The last day of the period so computed shall be counted, unless it is a Saturday, a Sunday, or a legal holiday, in which event the period runs until the end of the next day which is not a Saturday, a Sunday, or a legal holiday.

  • Calculation of Time Period When calculating the period of time before which, within which or following which any act is to be done or step taken pursuant to this Agreement, the date that is the reference date in calculating such period shall be excluded. If the last day of such period is a non-Business Day, the period in question shall end on the next succeeding Business Day.

  • Calculation of Time Periods Unless otherwise specified, in computing any period of time described in this Agreement, the day of the act or event after which the designated period of time begins to run is not to be included and the last day of the period so computed is to be included, unless such last day is a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday under the laws of the State in which the Property is located, in which event the period shall run until the end of the next day which is neither a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday. The final day of any such period shall be deemed to end at 5 p.m., local time.
