Computation of Time. In computing any period of time prescribed or allowed by procedures herein, the date of the act, event, or default for which the designated period of time begins to run shall not be included. The last day of the period so computed shall be counted, unless it is a Saturday, a Sunday, or a legal holiday, in which event the period runs until the end of the next day which is not a Saturday, a Sunday, or a legal holiday.

If the date on which any action is required or permitted to be taken under this Plan of Arrangement by a Person is not a Business Day, such action shall be required or permitted to be taken on the next succeeding day which is a Business Day.

(a) where there is a reference to a number of days between two events, the number of days shall be counted by excluding the day on which the first event happens and including the day on which the second event happens, including all calendar days; and
(b) only in the case where the time for doing an act expires on a holiday as “holiday” is defined in the Rules of Civil Procedure, RRO 1990, Reg 194, the act may be done on the next day that is not a holiday.

Computation of Time. Whenever the last day for the exercise of any privilege or the discharge of any duty hereunder shall fall on a Saturday, Sunday, or any public or legal holiday, whether local or national, the Party having such privilege or duty shall have until 5:00 p.m. (EST or, if in effect in New York, EDT) on the next succeeding business day to exercise such privilege, or to discharge such duty.
