Computation of Time. In computing any period of time prescribed or allowed by procedures herein, the date of the act, event, or default for which the designated period of time begins to run shall not be included. The last day of the period so computed shall be counted, unless it is a Saturday, a Sunday, or a legal holiday, in which event the period runs until the end of the next day which is not a Saturday, a Sunday, or a legal holiday.

Whenever the last day for the exercise of any privilege or the discharge of any duty hereunder shall fall on a Saturday, Sunday, or any public or legal holiday, whether local or national, the Party having such privilege or duty shall have until 5:00 p.m. (EST or, if in effect in New York, EDT) on the next succeeding business day to exercise such privilege, or to discharge such duty.
Computation of Time. The time in which any act is to be done under this Agreement is computed by excluding the first day (such as the day escrow opens), and including the last day, unless the last day is a holiday or Saturday or Sunday, and then that day is also excluded. The term “holiday” shall mean all holidays as specified in Section 6700 and 6701 of the California Government Code. If any act is to be done by a particular time during a day, that time shall be Pacific Time Zone time.
