Common use of Determining Status of Auxiliary Employees Clause in Contracts

Determining Status of Auxiliary Employees. (i) At least one (1) time each calendar year the Parties agree to address, at the Labour/Management Committee (or otherwise if mutually agreed), the potential conversion of specific auxiliary employees to regular status if they are eligible for such conversion. (ii) An auxiliary employee may, through the grievance procedure, seek a determination of their employment status if not satisfied with the outcome of the foregoing review. (iii) The Employer shall maintain a list showing the hours worked for all auxiliary employees. This list shall be updated in January of each year and shall be provided to the Union.
