DEVELOP BASIS OF DESIGN. Consultant shall: a) Update flows and loads based on plant data subsequent to the “2011 Flow and Load Update,” Technical Memorandum: Flow and Load Update (2011), using an approach similar to District’s West Basin Facility Plan. b) Participate in permitting scenario development with District that may impact the treatment or design capacity of the secondary system. The planning and regulatory assumptions shall be developed with District as part of the workshops in Task 5 c) Prepare and submit a Secondary Treatment Basis of Design Technical Memorandum (TM1), which shall define current and projected flows, loading and current and projected future effluent permit requirements through plant buildout (envisioned around 2055).

DEVELOP BASIS OF DESIGN. The goal of this task is to create the basis of design for the microgrid and energy storage systems. • Model the power and energy flow of the Las Positas College campus. Establish power demand flattening goals. • Determine energy storage capacity. • Determine power flow rates. • Prepare baseline energy use and power demand data. • Evaluate the impact of variable power flow from the solar arrays to the PG&E local grid. • Prepare and provide an Assessment Report of the microgrid’s existing incentives participation and opportunities, including: o Current retail rates and participation in demand response programs o Opportunities for participation into wholesale including the design of one or more market resources made up of microgrid assets o Identification of potential wholesale market bidding and retail strategies, including continued participation in retail programs o Identification of forecasting and scheduling needs to support identified strategies • Prepare and provide the Preliminary Basis of Design that includes but is not limited to the following: o A description of the storage battery system o Establish Power Flow rates o Preliminary Economic Analysis o A description of the modifications to the central plant chiller system o Establish Test and Verification points and meter/test equipment o An outline specification of the flow battery defining rated capacity in kilowatt (kW) and kWh o A discussion of the characteristics of the micro grid control approach • Review the Preliminary Basis of Design with the TAC. • Review the Assessment Report with PG&E. • Prepare and provide Final Basis of Design that includes updated information contained in the Preliminary Basis of Design plus: o Power Flow limits. o Demand Response requirements. • Assessment Report • Preliminary Basis of Design • Final Basis of Design

  • Release of Design Plan The Engineer (1) will not release any roadway design plan created or collected under this contract except to its subproviders as necessary to complete the contract; (2) shall include a provision in all subcontracts which acknowledges the State’s ownership of the design plan and prohibits its use for any use other than the project identified in this contract; and (3) is responsible for any improper use of the design plan by its employees, officers, or subproviders, including costs, damages, or other liability resulting from improper use. Neither the Engineer nor any subprovider may charge a fee for the portion of the design plan created by the State.

  • If Designated If the HSP is Designated it will: (a) apply the principles of Active Offer in the provision of services; (b) continue to provide services to the public in French in accordance with the provisions of the FLSA; (c) maintain its French language services capacity; (d) submit a French language implementation report to the Funder on the date specified by the Funder, and thereafter, on each anniversary of that date, or on such other dates as the Funder may, by Notice, require; and (e) collect and submit to the Funder as requested by the Funder from time to time, French language services data.

  • Effect of Designation (i) If notice designating an Early Termination Date is given under Section 6(a) or (b), the Early Termination Date will occur on the date so designated, whether or not the relevant Event of Default or Termination Event is then continuing. (ii) Upon the occurrence or effective designation of an Early Termination Date, no further payments or deliveries under Section 2(a)(i) or 2(e) in respect of the Terminated Transactions will be required to be made, but without prejudice to the other provisions of this Agreement. The amount, if any, payable in respect of an Early Termination Date shall be determined pursuant to Section 6(e).

  • Certificate of Designation The Certificate of Designation shall have been duly filed with the Secretary of State of the State of Delaware.

  • Program Design The County Human Resources Department will operate a Catastrophic Leave Bank which is designed to assist any County employee who has exhausted all paid accruals due to a serious or catastrophic illness, injury, or condition of the employee or family member. The program establishes and maintains a Countywide bank wherein any employee who wishes to contribute may authorize that a portion of his/her accrued vacation, compensatory time, holiday compensatory time or floating holiday be deducted from those account(s) and credited to the Catastrophic Leave Bank. Employees may donate hours either to a specific eligible employee or to the bank. Upon approval, credits from the Catastrophic Leave Bank may be transferred to a requesting employee's sick leave account so that employee may remain in paid status for a longer period of time, thus partially ameliorating the financial impact of the illness, injury, or condition. Catastrophic illness or injury is defined as a critical medical condition, a long-term major physical impairment or disability which manifests itself during employment.
