Common use of Development and Assessment Clause in Contracts

Development and Assessment. Throughout the program, the instructor will assess the students’ fluency in oral and written skills. Texts in the language in a variety of topics related to professional vocabulary and relevant situations, will be the elements that will serve to evaluate their progress. Reading comprehension is an important component of the evaluation system. Students are tested following the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages standards. Course Outcomes: By participating in an SLI course, students will develop: - Proficiency in the target language, with certain accuracy and satisfactory structure. - Ability to communicate with native speakers in professional and social levels, and in everyday life, despite some accent. - Ability to listen and understand language spoken by native speakers. - Ability to listen and understand television and other media. - Ability to read material in the language. - Understanding of the cultural aspects of the language.
