DEVELOPMENT OF ROLE. In the event that, in the course of rehearsal, changes are made which result in a Walk-on being required to undertake dialogue which comes under Clause 3(c) above or characterisation or other work going beyond that which may be required in accordance with the above definition, he/she shall undertake such work provided that a new engagement as an artist subject to the terms of the Main Agreement is negotiated, before the performance is given where this is possible. Each Company will operate an administrative procedure, agreed with Equity, to ensure that these provisions are uniformly applied.
