OTHER WORK. 14.1 Owner may perform other work related to the Project at the site by Owner’s own forces, have other work performed by utility owners or let other direct contracts. If the fact that such other work is to be performed is not noted in the Contract Documents, written notice thereof will be given to Construction Contractor prior to starting any such other work. If Construction Contractor believes that such performance will involve additional expense to Construction Contractor or require additional time, Construction Contractor shall send written notice of that fact to Owner and Design Professional within seven (7) calendar days of being notified of the other work. If Construction Contractor fails to send the above required seven (7) calendar days’ notice, Construction Contractor will be deemed to have waived any rights it otherwise may have had to seek an extension to the Contract Time or adjustment to the Contract Amount.
14.2 Construction Contractor shall afford each utility owner and other contractor who is a party to such a direct contract (or Owner, if Owner is performing the additional work with Owner’s employees) proper and safe access to the site and a reasonable opportunity for the introduction and storage of materials and equipment and the execution of such work and shall properly connect and coordinate its Work with theirs. Construction Contractor shall do all cutting, fitting and patching of the Work that may be required to make its several parts come together properly and integrate with such other work. Construction Contractor shall be responsible for all damage to the work of others caused by the performance of its Work. Further, Construction Contractor shall not in any way cut or alter the work of others without first receiving the written consent of that other person and Design Professional.
14.3 If any part of Construction Contractor’s Work depends for proper execution or results upon the work of any other contractor or utility owner (or Owner), Construction Contractor shall inspect and promptly report to Design Professional in writing any delays, defects or deficiencies in such work that render it unavailable or unsuitable for such proper execution and results. Such report must be made within seven (7) calendar days of the time Construction Contractor first became aware of the delay, defect or deficiency or by the scheduled commencement of Construction Contractor’s dependent Work, whichever occurs first. If Design-Build Firm believes that such performance will involve additional expense to Design-Build Firm or require additional time, Design- Build Firm shall send written notice of that fact to the County and County’s Representative within forty-eight (48) hours of being notified of the other work. If the Design-Build Firm fails to send the above required forty-eight (48) hour notice, the Design-Build Firm shall be deemed to have waived any rights it otherwise may have had to seek an extension to the Contract Time or adjustment to the Contract Amount.

Design-Build Firm shall afford each utility owner and other Design-Build Firm who is a party to such a direct contract (or the County, if the County is performing the additional work with the County's employees) proper and safe access to the Site and a reasonable opportunity for the introduction and storage of materials and equipment and the execution of such work and shall properly connect and coordinate its Work with theirs. Design-Build Firm shall do all cutting, fitting and patching of the Work that may be required to make its several parts come together properly and integrate with such other work. Design-Build Firm shall not endanger any work of others by cutting, excavating or otherwise altering their work and shall only cut or alter their work with the written consent of the County’s Representative and the others whose work will be affected. The duties and responsibilities of Design-Build Firm under this paragraph are for the benefit of such utility owners and other Design-Build Firms to the extent that there are comparable provisions for the benefit of Design-Build Firm in said direct contracts between the County and such utility owners and other Design-Build Firms.

OTHER WORK. Only with the prior written agreement of the Superintendent, the ADMINISTRATOR may undertake consultation work, speaking engagements, writing, teaching a college or university course, lecturing, or other professional duties and obligations. Provided, however, that this other work shall not interfere in a material and substantial manner with the ADMINISTRATOR’S obligations set forth in this Contract.
OTHER WORK a. The City of Durham and Engineer are unaware of any other work on the Site at the time of Notice to Proceed.
OTHER WORK. The Customer may undertake or award other contracts, Statements of Work, or other arrangements for additional or related work, and the Contractor shall reasonably cooperate with such other Contractors and pertinent Customer personnel. The Contractor shall not commit or permit any act that shall interfere with the performance of work by any other Contractors or by Customer personnel.
OTHER WORK. Employees shall perform any work which the man ager of the store or Zone Manager may direct with the understanding that when an employee is assigned to a job with a lesser rate he will be entitled to his regular rate of pay, unless due to a decrease of work, he has regularly been assigned to a lower rated job and desires to retain such job rather than accept a layoff.
OTHER WORK. The Superintendent may undertake consultative work, speaking engagements, writing, lecturing or other professional duties and obligations, provided that those activities do not interfere with the effective performance of the Superintendent’s duties and responsibilities as provided herein.
OTHER WORK. With prior approval by the College President, the Administrator may undertake speaking engagements, writing, lecturing or other professional and consulting activities, provided that such activities do not conflict with or interfere with the effective carrying out of duties imposed upon the Administrator.
OTHER WORK. 1. CONTRACTOR acknowledges that this Master Agreement is not exclusive, and that ANAHEIM reserves the right to employ or contract with other entities for the performance of the Work outlined in Exhibit A. CONTRACTOR further acknowledges that its Work will be requested on an as-needed basis, and that no promises or guarantees have been made that a particular amount of Work will be requested or that any level of compensation may be earned by CONTRACTOR hereunder.
2. If any part of CONTRACTOR’s Work depends upon the Work of another contractor or of the employees of ANAHEIM, CONTRACTOR shall inspect and promptly report to the ANAHEIM Representative any defects in such Work that renders it unsuitable for incorporation into CONTRACTOR’s Work. Failure to so inspect and report any defective Work shall constitute an acceptance of the same by CONTRACTOR as being fit and suitable for the proper execution and results of the Work.
3. CONTRACTOR further agrees that during the performance of the Work, CONTRACTOR shall not hinder or interfere with any individuals whom ANAHEIM may employ to do any Work. CONTRACTOR shall suspend any part of the Work, or shall carry on the same, as directed by the ANAHEIM Representative, so as to afford all reasonable facilities for the performance of such other Work. CONTRACTOR shall not claim any extra compensation for delays in the Work. CONTRACTOR’s sole recourse shall be an extension of time for performance as ANAHEIM may grant in accordance with the provisions hereof.
OTHER WORK. The Trust recognizes that from time to time the Distributor's directors, officers and employees may serve as directors, officers and employees of other corporations or business trusts (including other investment companies) and that such other corporations and trust may include the name ALPS as part of their name, and that the Distributor or its affiliates may enter into investment advisory or other agreements with such other corporations and trusts.
