Directing Request and Meetings. Either party desiring to open negotiations to modify this Agreement shall notify the other party in writing no sooner than one hundred (100) days and not later than sixty (60) days prior to the expiration of this Agreement. Notification in writing from the Association shall be addressed to the Board President or Superintendent, and from the Board shall be addressed to the President of the Association. Within fifteen (15) days the first bargaining session shall be held for the exchange of fully written proposals to be negotiated and shall establish dates for future bargaining sessions. Once proposals are submitted by both parties, no new items shall be added during the bargaining period unless mutually agreed to by the Association and the Board bargaining teams.
