Required Meetings. An employee or owner operator who is required to attend any meeting on Company business shall be paid at his/her regular rate of pay for such meetings occurring during his/her regular shift or at applicable rates of pay for all such time spent outside of his/her regular shift. Any meetings necessary to comply with the formal grievance provisions of this Article will be held during normal working hours at no loss of pay to the employees or owner operators concerned.
Required Meetings. An Owner Operator and/or Employee who is required to attend a meeting at the Company’s request shall be not result in a loss in regular earnings.

Nothing herein contained shall be construed to relieve bargaining unit employees from their obligation to attend and participate in parent-teacher conferences and building, departmental and other meetings called by the Administration. Employees shall be required to attend not more than one (1) open house each semester. Such open houses may be scheduled only on Monday through Thursday during the school week. No employee shall be required to attend after-school meetings scheduled by the District for more than two and one-half (2 1/2) hours of meeting time per week. No staff meeting will extend beyond 5:00 p.m. For the purpose of this limitation, the following shall be excluded: Joint Association-District committees, system-wide curriculum meetings involving entire staffs (i.e., all elementary, all middle school, or all senior high employees), parent-teacher conferences, general staff meetings called by the Superintendent, KEA meetings called by the Association or any meetings required by State and/or Federal regulations involving special education students (i.e., IEPT). Employees shall attend after school functions which they sponsor. All required District Professional Development meetings shall commence no later than thirty (30) minutes after the earliest dismissal of all affected groups. All on-site meetings will commence no later than ten (10) minutes after student dismissal. One building staff meeting per month will take place on either the second or fourth Monday and shall be limited to one (1) hour in duration. Professional Development (PD) meetings will take place on those Mondays and Wednesdays designated in the Calendar Agreement. The Monday PD meetings will be no longer than two (2) hours in duration, and the Wednesday PD meetings will be no longer than one-and-a-half (1 1/2) hours in duration. Regular building Professional Development sessions will be scheduled each semester. Such meetings will be held on the first Monday of any given month and shall be limited to two (2) hours in duration. There will be no building staff meetings or Wednesday after-school meetings during weeks in which Monday Professional Development sessions are held after school. An agenda for each Professional Development session will be developed and distributed to staff at least three (3) days prior to the scheduled session. Required Meetings. Whenever a teacher is required to appear before the Board or an administrator for any reason that could adversely affect the teacher’s position, the teacher shall be notified, in advance, via email or written letter. The written notification will include the reason for the meeting and the teacher’s right to representation at the meeting.
Required Meetings. If a part-time faculty employee at the request of the Board is required to attend staff meetings, serve on professional committees, participate in co-curricular or extra-curricular activities of the college or in any other way serve beyond his or her part-time assignment, he or she shall receive additional compensation at the appropriate hourly rate as specified in Appendix G. For meetings which require no preparation or follow-up by the part-time faculty employee (e.g., flex day activities), such compensation for all part- time faculty who attend shall be at column one, step one of Appendix G regardless of the faculty employee’s regular placement on the salary schedule. The Director of Transportation may call meetings which shall require the attendance of all bus drivers, such as safety instructions, first aid classes, and other meetings as may be deemed necessary. Bus drivers will be paid a minimum of one-half hour for required meetings at their current rate or actual time plus 15 minutes, whichever is greater. Compensation for returning bus drivers who are attending training meetings shall be at the driver's regular hourly rate.
Required Meetings. No faculty employee, excluding counselors, librarians and other faculty employees with similar schedules, shall be required by the Board to attend more than a combined total of ten department and division meetings (not counting flex day activities) during an academic year. To the extent practicable, a standard day of the week and time of day for required department and division meetings shall be established at the beginning of each quarter. Furthermore, unless unusual circumstances dictate otherwise, no less than a ten day notice shall be given of required meetings. Faculty shall not be required to attend department, division, or committee meetings during final exam week.
Required Meetings. To ensure that the Services are completed in a manner that expeditiously integrates the Work Product with the work product of all other Project consultants, Consultant shall, from time to time and as often as may be necessary, meet and confer with (a) Owner (and other authorized representatives of Owner), and (b) those contractors and other Project consultants necessary to assist in scheduling and coordinating the Services, the services of any other Project consultant, or the construction work undertaken on the Project pursuant to the Work Product or the work product of any other consultant.

The failure of the Company to observe any corporate formalities or requirements relating to the exercise of its powers or management of its business or affairs under this Agreement or the Act shall not be grounds for imposing personal liability on the Members for liabilities of the Company.
