Common use of Directions from Administrator Clause in Contracts

Directions from Administrator. The Trustee shall disburse monies to Participants for benefit payments in the amounts that the Administrator directs from time to time in writing. The Trustee shall have no responsibility to ascertain whether the Administrator’s direction complies with the terms of the Plan or of any applicable law. The Trustee shall be responsible for Federal or State income tax reporting or withholding with respect to such Plan benefits. The Trustee shall not be responsible for FICA (Social Security and Medicare), or any Federal or State unemployment or local tax with respect to Plan distributions, unless required by law or by agreement with the Sponsor.
