Common use of DISABILITY BENEFITS ASSIGNMENT Clause in Contracts

DISABILITY BENEFITS ASSIGNMENT. During the period in which the full salary or wages of any Employee Receiving worker’s compensation temporary disability benefits are paid by the Township, any temporary disability payment received by the employee from worker’s compensation benefits or social security disability benefits, or any other disability benefit provided by a program paid for by the Township shall be assigned to the Township. The employee shall endorse over and deliver to the Township any such benefits paid to the employee.
