Disability Related to Pregnancy. Pregnancy, miscarriage, childbirth or recovery there from is a disability for which sick leave may be utilized. The date of commencement of absence from duties because of disability there from shall be determined by medical authority chosen by the unit member. The resumption of duty shall be determined by medical authority chosen by the unit member and shall verify the unit member’s physical ability to return to their assigned duties.
