Disclaimer of Relationship. The Awardee shall not be deemed to be an agency, department or instrumentality of the United States merely by virtue of its being an Awardee. Nothing in this Agreement, nor any act of the CDFI Fund or the Awardee, shall be construed by either of them, or by a third party, to create any relationship of third-party beneficiary, principal or agent, limited or general partner or joint venture, or of any association or relationship whatsoever involving the CDFI Fund.
