Disclosure of Interests in Other Entities Sample Clauses

Disclosure of Interests in Other Entities. In May 2011, the IASB issued IFRS 12 Disclosure of Interests in Other Entities (“IFRS 12”), which is effective for annual periods beginning on or after January 1, 2013, with early application permitted. Under IFRS 12, enhanced disclosures are required for entities reporting interests in other entities, including joint arrangements, special purpose vehicles, and off balance sheet vehicles. IFRS 12 supersedes IAS 27 “Consolidated and Separate Financial Statements” and SIC-12 “Consolidation – Special Purpose Entities”. The Company has not yet assessed the impact of the standard or determined whether it will adopt the standard early.
