Disconnect Device. Seller shall provide a manually operated disconnect device which provides a visible break to separate Facility from Company System. Such disconnect device shall be lockable in the OPEN position and be readily accessible to Company personnel at all times.

Disconnect Device. Customer shall furnish and install, on its side of the bi‐directional metering equipment a safety disconnect device capable of fully disconnecting and isolating the Facility from the City’s electric distribution system. The disconnect device shall be located adjacent to the City’s bi‐directional metering equipment or other location approved by the City and shall be of the visible break type in a metal enclosure that can be secured by a padlock. The disconnect device shall be accessible to the City’s personnel at all times and shall conform to National Electric Code Standards. The City shall have the right to disconnect the Facility from the City’s electric distribution system when necessary to maintain safe and reliable electrical operating conditions or if in the City’s sole judgment, the Facility at any time adversely affects the operation of the City’s electric distribution system or the quality and reliability of the City’s service to other customers. The City shall have the right to require that the Facility remain disconnected until such time as the City determines, in the sole discretion, that the condition(s) requiring the disconnection have ended or been corrected. The City shall have the option of requiring ongoing testing of disconnection equipment.

If The City determines that there is a problem on the bi-directional equipment or the City needs to test the equipment the City has the right to disconnect the entire service to the residence until such equipment is repaired and inspected and determined to be functioning properly. The meter base main breaker box or bi-directional safety disconnect must be marked with an approved engraved or metallic placard, showing the location of disconnect and batteries that are red in color and attached in a secure manner. If at any time the placard is not legible or becomes loose or falls off the Customer will replace it within two weeks or the City may disconnect the service until it is repaired to the City’s satisfaction.
Disconnect Device. An interconnection customer of the City must install and maintain a manual disconnect switch which will disconnect the generating facility from the utility’s distribution system. The disconnect switch must be a lockable, load-break switch that plainly indicates whether it is in the open or closed position. Disconnect Device. To the extent feasible given the structural configuration of any County streetlights, Licensee shall install on each County Streetlight a disconnect device such as a cutoff switch or similar mechanism. This disconnect device must disable and de-energize the Equipment so that any Licensor’s employees or representative performing work may upon prior notice to Licensee’s Network Operations Center, safely shut down the Equipment to eliminate exposure to electromagnetic frequencies or radio frequencies generated by the Equipment. The disconnect device must be clearly identified and easily accessed. Licensee shall provide Licensor with information and diagrams describing the use, function, and operation of the disconnect device for the instruction of Licensor’s employees or representative. If such disconnect device has not been installed by Licensee, upon notice from Licensor to Licensee’s Network Operations Center at least four (4) hours in advance, Licensee shall temporarily disable and de-energize the Equipment at the requested County Streetlight location in connection with Licensor’s work at such location.

Such device shall normally be located near the Utility's meter or meters for sole operation by the Utility. At the Producer's option and request, the Utility will provide, install, own and maintain the disconnect device on the Utility's system as special facilities in accordance with Section F. -----------------------
