Common use of Dispatch Services Clause in Contracts

Dispatch Services. provide fire department 9-1-1 emergency dispatch by CAL FIRE Fire/Emergency Command Center (ECC). CAL FIRE will be responsible for fire/emergency dispatching emergency resource units covered under this agreement. The CAL FIRE ECC is staffed with a Battalion Chief, three or more Fire Captains and Communications Operators to provide 24/7 year-round coverage. There is always an officer of Captain rank or higher to serve as the shift supervisor and command officer. CAL FIRE uses an integrated Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system using the latest technology, to direct the closest available resources to all emergency incidents.
