Doors and Headroom. Doors should be suitable to permit safe entrance and exit from the building for all the types of vehicles to be tested. The height of doorways used for vehicle access must be clearly identified. There must be sufficient headroom inside the building to allow for jacking/raising of all the types of vehicles to be tested. There must be a minimum of at least 1.5m between any vehicle entrance and exit door and the pit or any fixed equipment except headlight aim equipment (measured to the centre line of the roller brake tester).
