DROPS/WITHDRAWS Sample Clauses

DROPS/WITHDRAWS. Students can request to be dropped from dual enrollment courses. The school district is not charged for these courses. Students must obtain a drop/withdraw form from their school counselor before they are permitted to drop or withdraw from a course. The student must take the form to DSC, where the registration staff will officially drop/withdraw him/her. At the end of the drop period, the withdrawal period begins. If a student withdraws from a course a “W” grade is entered on the student’s transcript. The “W” does not count toward the student’s GPA; however, it does count as a course attempt. The school district is responsible for tuition costs associated with these courses. The drop and withdraw dates are listed below and are also available on the college website in the Academic Calendar. Withdraw forms should be obtained in advance due to processing time requirements of the school district. In the event Bank receives cash deposits, you agree that the Bank's determination of the amount of the deposit will be conclusive. The Bank is responsible for mailed deposits only after the Bank has received them. The Bank is not liable for any deposits, including cash, lost in the mail. The Bank's policy is to make funds from certain electronic deposits available to you on the business day the Bank receives the deposit. However, the Bank may delay the availability of funds from your check deposits to afford us time to verify the deposit and ensure the funds are collected. During the delay, you may not withdraw the funds and the Bank will not use the funds to pay checks you have written or other debits against the account that you have initiated, such as electronic bill payments. Determining the Availability of a Deposit The length of the delay is counted in business days from the day of your deposit. Every day is a business day, except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays. If you make a deposit before our established cutoff time on a business day that we are open, we will consider that day to be the day your deposit is received by the Bank. However, if you make a deposit after our cutoff time or on a day we are not open, we will consider the next business day we are open to be the day of your deposit. The availability of your deposit varies depending on the type of deposit and is explained below. Our deposit cutoff times are as follows: • Branch deposits:
