Drug/Alcohol Addiction. 1. The Association and District jointly recognize drug/alcohol addiction as an illness which is treatable. It is also recognized that it is for the best interests of the employee, the Association and the District that these illnesses be treated and controlled under the existing collective bargaining contractual relationship.
