Drug and Alcohol Testing - Post Accident. City employees are prohibited from consuming alcoholic beverages or being under the influence of a controlled substance or alcohol during their work shift. City employees may be required to undergo mandatory drug and alcohol testing if reasonable suspicion exists, in accordance with A.R. 97.00, Substance Abuse Policy. Furthermore, employees involved in an on-the-job accident while operating a vehicle or power equipment are required to undergo drug and alcohol testing.
