Employees required to have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or to be licensed by the United States Coast Guard are subject to post-accident, random and reasonable suspicion testing in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation Rules (49 CFR 382 and 383), Coast Guard Regulations (46 CFR Part 16) or the Federal Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991. The testing shall be conducted in accordance with current agency policy. B. In addition, employees who perform safety-sensitive functions are subject to post-accident, post-firearm shooting incidents, and reasonable suspicion testing. The testing shall be conducted in accordance with agency policy.
